Roses are my favorite flower. It so so easy to send send flowers online these days. With roses you can express so many different sentiments from the red rose means love, but did you know if you present a red and white rose together it symbolizes “unity?” Make it pink and white and it means “I love you and always will.”

Your florist didn't just make up these meanings to make money. They have been around since the Victorian Days.

Here is a short list of some popular colors and their very Victorian meanings. Red - Passionate Love Yellow - Unfaithfulness Pale Pink - Youth and Femininity White - Keep My Secret Pink - Perfect Happiness Coral - I admire your accomplishments Leaf of a rose - You May Hope Time has marched on and today we have rose colors that our ancestors never dreamed of.
